What's My Deal?
Simply put: I’m a UX/UI professional who specializes in user research & design. My comfort zone ranges anywhere between gathering/summarizing qualitiative data, wireframing responsive web layouts, agile project management, and dabbling in front-end development for proof-of-concepts-- but I pride myself on being flexible and extending myself beyond my comfort zone when the situation calls for it. I have passive skills in database management, designing and developing microinteractions, and graphic design to bolster my work. I’m always seeking to combine user and business needs to create an environment that makes both parties delighted with the results.
When I first got into this field, I didn’t even know it existed
I was searching for majors and found myself caught between two camps: Technology, and Art. My disdain for math held me back from comp sci, and the level of technical skill to pursue fine arts evaded me. But when I discovered the field of UX/UI, it felt like finding a Kara shaped hole that I never knew existed. Not only do I get to be creative using technology, but I also get to create experiences uniquely tailored for users based on their needs.
